"I use to think quitting meant losing something. Lacy showed me that it is the opposite. I feel like I've gained everything–energy, clarity, and a body I feel powerful in. I haven't just stopped drinking–I've started living."
Relying on Willpower Alone Won't Work.
You know willpower always runs out. You've seen it in yourself. You're a strong, intelligent person. You thrive in other areas of your life. If it were as simple as a conscious decision to moderate alcohol you would do it. Easy.
The secret is you don't have to fight the urge with the power of will. When you address your subconscious beliefs around drinking you can remove the internal craving. Sobriety isn't a life of depriving yourself and endless use of willpower. Sobriety is freedom. Freedom from your internal argument. Sobriety is peace.
"Willpower is not a mythical force that we either have or don't have. Willpower is our decision to use higher-mind thinking."

Hi. I am Lacy and from the moment I started drinking I took it too far. Growing up in the midwest, alcohol was part of every celebration, every weekend, every identity. My father hid his drinking and my mother was a partier, alcohol was ever present and ever important. I learned early to equate drinking with being 'fun'. Those who didn't drink were boring, stuck up or judgmental. So being the fun person I am, I was a drinker. I didn't give it conscious thought, but I would drink to black out almost every time. As you can imagine, this lead me into some sticky situations in the 20 plus years of throwing them back. Drinking shaped my entire world: my friends, my job, my whole identity. One particularly rough night in Ohio, I knew I had to finally quit. Getting sober helped me discover who I was meant to be. I feel confident, grounded and genuinely happy. I now use fitness and mindset coaching to help others break free of the cycle and meet their own true self.
(and I'm still fun.)
More Than Sobriety
Sobriety gave me a foundation to live life on my terms, but it does not define me. To be honest, outside of coaching, I hardly ever think about being sober or have to mention it.
In my everyday life I'm all about the simple joys–being outdoors, working out or hanging with my pups, Sophie and Mia. I hate to miss a good sunset and love a good who-done-it. I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures and landscapes. I try to journal regularly and breathe in the beauty of nature whenever I can. I watch too much reality TV, order tacos way too regularly and I am obsessed with finding products to grow my hair. And I never take myself too seriously.
Sobreity has given me a life to do what I love because I am no longer in my own way. It gave me confidence to go after a career that is perfect for me. I get to be outside everyday and not behind a desk, or a bar. Plus I'm confident my dogs are living their happiest lives alongside me, and let's be real–that is the best part.

Strength Begins With You
You're already strong. You can do hard things. Now let's do the one thing that changes everything.
You deserve a system and a coach that will help you change your relationship with alcohol– for good.
